TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. General Rules

Check-in time: 15h00 & Check-out time: 10h00
Late check-outs must be approved in advance and may incur additional charges.
Only guests who have booked are allowed to stay overnight. Management must approve extra visitors.
Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the guest house. Please smoke outside.
No firearms or any type of weapons or hazardous goods are allowed on these premises. Guests are requested to be vigilant regarding their safety, property, and valuables in their possession.
The maximum speed limit on the premises is 30 km/h.
Pets are not allowed.
Any damage to the property must be reported immediately. Guests may be held responsible for repair costs.
Right of admission is reserved and management will have the right to deny any person access to and or of the use of premises.

2. Safety & Farm Guidelines

Children must please be supervised, especially near animals, machinery and water sources.
Guests are not allowed to explore the working area of the farm or any farm building and/or using farm equipment and vehicles.
Fires and barbecues are only permitted in designated areas.
Swimming / Fishing in the farm's water sources, which includes dams and rivers, are strictly prohibited.

3. Housekeeping and Waste Disposal

The guest house is cleaned before check-in. Additional cleaning services cannot be requested during weekends.
Waste must be disposed of in designated bins.
Excessive mess or damage may result in additional cleaning fees.

4. Liability and Responsibilities

Neither the landowner JJ Marais Familietrust IT807/2004 nor the operators or their successors in title, shall be liable for any loss, damage, or injury, including consequential loss to any property or suffered by any person, howsoever the same may be caused.
All persons entering this farm and/or utilising any of the facilities on Kleinvlei Farm including Kleine Vallei House, agree by so doing that they hold the landowner and/or operators and their successors in title harmless against any loss, claim, or expense howsoever arising and caused by whomsoever and whether arising and through negligence or recklessness and whether liability would be vicarious or not. Such persons also indemnify the landowner and/or operators and their successors in title against any claims on behalf of or instituted by any person brought to or accompanying such person on the property or its facility.
Any violations of the rules may result in early termination of the stay without refund.

5. Booking and Cancellation Policy

Bookings can be done directly or through Lekkeslaap.
To confirm a booking, a deposit of 50% is required.
Although guests reserve specific rooms, more than one group cannot book at the same time, therefore it is on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Cancellations made more than 1 month before arrival will receive a 50% refund of the deposit.
Cancellations made more than 2 weeks before arrival will receive a 25% refund of the deposit.
Cancellations made less than 2 weeks before arrival will receive 0% refund of the deposit.
Early departure will not be eligible for a refund.

In case of an emergency during your stay, please contact 083 233 2525 OR 078 460 6014. Please note that the farm is located in a no-reception area, therefore a WhatsApp is preferred for communication.

By booking and staying at the house, guests agree to abide by these terms and conditions.

7. Products Inquiries

For the ordering of products, please inform management between 24 and 48 hours prior to arrival, to have all products ready at the house.

Please note that some products are only available in certain seasons of the year. Depending on demand from the market, supply may be limited.

Payment for products should be made via EFT with a Proof of Payment attached, before receiving products. Proof of Payment can be send by e-mail to admin@kleinvleifarm.co.za / by WhatsApp to 078 460 6014.
